based in Los Angeles
I've always had a passion for writing, especially comedy. As a kid, I used to sneak downstairs past bedtime to watch David Letterman and The Daily Show, which helped me refine my storytelling skills and idea pitching. After graduating from San Francisco State University with a degree in cinema, I embarked on a career in production, eager to contribute my skills to the entertainment industry.
Throughout my career in the film production industry, I have had the opportunity to take on a variety of roles includes various roles such as camera assistant, gaffer, and first assistant director. Each of these roles has allowed me to develop a unique set of skills and knowledge that I bring to any project I work on. Whether I am behind the camera as a camera assistant, managing the lighting as a gaffer, or coordinating the production as a first assistant director, I am always committed to delivering high-quality results and contributing to the success of the project.
Apart from my production work, I have experience organizing events for the Mill Valley Film Festival and the City of Novato's Public Access. These events include various activities such as screenings, red-carpet events, and Q&A sessions. I played different roles in these events, ranging from planning and coordinating logistics to managing social media campaigns.
As a screenwriter, I have an extensive portfolio covering pilots, spec scripts, late-night comedy packets, and sketches. My love for writing has also led me to contribute to Fast-Forward Magazine since 2013, where I've written articles about figures such as Hillary Clinton and Gavin Newsom, as well as iconic musicians like Van Halen and The Grateful Dead.
When I'm not working, you can find me performing sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.
If you're in search of someone with a solid track record in writing about anything, seamlessly coordinating and executing events, and who is deadline-driven, we should talk.
